Early Reading Together® programme

We are facilitating these workshops in Katikati & Parkvale. The programme is aimed at working alongside families to support their children's language and literacy development 👩‍🎓  A fun way to learn together as a family 😃

The first photo shows 2 year old Vaiolupe Misa (one of Sela's Ala Mai ECE rising 🌟🌟!) confidently taking the lead during the workshop at Parkvale.

Early Reading Together® Class of '22, Session 2: Great reflections & learnings following session 1 particularly from the younger participants - in addition to helping with our children's literacy and language development, it also encourages them to ask questions, growing their confidence in small group settings.

Session 2 also enabled the adults to reflect on their learnings & having confidence to talk about their reading experiences. It doesn't matter how old we are, the smallest steps are always the biggest steps😊

Early Reading Together® programme in Katikati concluded with a trip to the Library and closed with a graduation - it has been great learning/reading together as a family!🥳🥳 particularly when parents are often "time-poor" - well done all of you 👏🌴
